One of the major challenges faced by management education today is the need to constantly adapt to the changing requirements of Industries. Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) at Srusti funded by AICTE provides an interface between the academic and the corporate world through interactive sessions, Industrial Visits, Workshops, Internship Programmes, Industry Sponsored Market Surveys and participation of Students in Industries’ CSR Programmes. Leading practitioners from diverse Industrial backgrounds share their insights and management lessons. As a facilitator between academics and corporate, IIPC creates distinct spill-over benefits for the Institute in areas such as review of training curriculum and alignment with recruiter expectations and as reinforcement for wider internship and campus recruitment opportunities.

1 28/05/2022 A Book talk was organized at Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous) on 28th May 2022. Dr. Gourahari Das, Author-Editor-academician was the speaker of the program. The program was attended by more than 50 students. Mr.Gourahari Das, Author-Editor-academician enlightened the event with his presence. He started talking about his early life the odds that he faced during his career as an author. He talked about his struggle in the initial phase of his career. He talked about the essentials of pursuing an academic career and gave some tips to get successful in life. As an academician he also commented on reading books daily, about its compounding effect on knowledge and in overall growth of personality over time. He explained the students about self confidence. He enlightened students about their value and their purpose of life. He clarified how reading book is important for the students in their life. Prior to this session 2 literary review analysis by MBA students of their favourite books then 5-6 students providing there book reviews followed by faculty members Mr. Nirmal Routra and Ms Rosy Barik presented their book reviews over academics. A poem “Gyana Bhandara” cited by Ms Sucheta Pattanayak, written by Ms Draupadi Mishra. Dr. Arpan Mohapatra, Assistant Professor-Finance offered the Vote of thanks at the end of the session. 3 06/06/2022 Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous) organized a Felicitation Programme for Certified students in Value Added Course on dt.06.06.2022 at 4.30P.M to 5.30P.M. Address by Dr. Kamala Ramakrishnan, Chief Manager at NPTEL,IIT Madras ( Virtually) and Dr.Bibhuti Bhusan Mukherjee, Director-Curriculum, BPUT, Odisha ( Virtually). Prof.R.N. Sahu, Principal, CIME, BBSR is the Chief Guest. Welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Umakanta Dash, Vice Principal, Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous). He explained Value-added courses are those courses designed to enhance the standard of the students beyond the levels specified in academic curriculum. It helps to bridge the gap between the academic and industry needs. Value added course is important to enrich the employability skills of the students. Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous) is also the active LOCAL CHAPTER OF NPTEL since 2019. In this context we have gathered here for the felicitation programme for the certified students of the NPTEL Value added courses. Dr. Kamala Ramakrishnan, Chief Manager at NPTEL,IIT Madras emphasizes NPTEL is very popular and go through the course, great opportunity will got it, charges is very small, learning never stop. Dr.Bibhuti Bhusan Mukherjee, Director-Curriculum, BPUT, Odisha gave top most value to Srusti Academy of Management (Autonomous).It is useful for Students and Facuty members. Prof.R.N. Sahu, Principal, CIME, BBSR emphasizes Value added course is must for student. If Academic demand is 70% and Corporate Demand is 100% then gap 30% is making up by Value added course. Prof. (Dr.) G. Has also highlighted that the Value Added Course enriches the C.Vs of the students and also it helps in cracking the job interviews very meticulously.
